About Dr. Tanuja Sharma:

Dr. Sharma is a board-certified Family Medicine physician. She is currently completing a fellowship in Integrative Medicine. She graduated from the University of Toledo in Ohio and completed her doctor of medicine degree at Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica, West Indies. Dr. Sharma completed her residency at the University of Chicago (Northshore) in IL. During her time in residency, she was elected chief resident and was awarded the best resident teacher by the medical students of the University of Chicago.

As a Canadian transplant, who is happy to call sunny Tampa Bay her home, she believes healthcare is a right and a responsibility. She sees her role in her patients’ healthcare as an advocate and educator. She aims to have her patients equipped with the tools to be leaders in their own personal health journeys. She is committed to creating a safe and trustworthy healing space within her practice.

Dr. Sharma has lived in four different countries and traveled to six different continents. Her life experience and personal cultural beliefs have led her to seek a holistic approach to treating patients using traditional and non-traditional medicine.

Her personal interests include international travel, cultural emersion, healthy flavorful plant-based cooking, teaching, music, singing, and meditation. Her personal mantra is ‘to laugh and love is to live!’ She is excited to create lifelong relationships with patients seeking wellness of mind, body, and spirit.
