Daily HabitsMy patients always ask me what my daily routine is. Whether it’s a weekday or weekend, whether I am traveling or at home, consistency is the key for me so that it becomes a daily habit. First thing I do upon awakening is drink warm lemon water with organic baking soda and some turmeric and black seed oil and neem and amla and organic honey. Then I get a workout in. After, I make a plant-based smoothie. I vary the ingredients here and there, but overall, it’s very similar day to day. Today I am holding my magic bullet that has coconut and hazelnut milks, high quality vegan pea protein powder, avocado, spinach, banana, cherries, strawberries, beet powder, chia, hemp, flax, quinoa. This really fills me up, and then I either do intermittent fasting until dinner, or I snack with healthy choices. There’s no set rule for what I do the rest of the day. It’s intuitive eating.But always clean.
