In reference to the article I just posted
about plant-based food being used as medicine instead of blindly reaching for pharmaceuticals, I have to say my goal in life is to avoid prescribed meds ?.
Let food be thy medicine.
Food is your safest form of medicine or slowest form of poison.
When you eat, think that you are either feeding disease or fighting it.
I just got home from a great workout ??and fixed this as my dinner…and it was fab and oh so energizing.
Vegan artichoke Indian Tandoori burger.
I mixed vegenaise with a garlic vinaigrette and spread it atop the burger ?
Had some fresh tart cherries on the side and some broccoli (not pictured) ??.
Washed it down with homemade beet-spinach-carrot juice ? ?then had a few spoons of dessert hummus, brownie batter flavor.
And the key is after you eat a clean, lean and green meal?, you don’t feel guilty or sluggish.
Your mind and body thank you for it ??
